Nucor Steel Tuscaloosa is looking for the right person to take our safety culture to the next level. The successful candidate will excel at improving a culture where everyone feels it is their responsibility to have a safe workplace.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Four year degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline OR five years of proven safety related experience in an industrial environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA including standards, protocols and compliance procedures
Preferences include:
- EMT Certification
- Supervisory experience in Safety and Wellness
- Leadership experience including planning, developing, and implementing successful safety programs
